Thank you, Jessie and Don, for the gift of your music. My daughter, Lydia, and I had a wonderful time at Jimmy Maks. I was first introduced to your music by your friend, Marian Blankenship. It's nice to know that Kate and Max are in town. I've seen them twice since your performance on the 12th of June and trust they are safely on the way to Europe this weekend. Hopefully you'll be able to bring your talents to Klamath Falls some day. Best to you and yours. - Bob Marsalli
Jessie, Your success is no surprise to me; your voice is magical. Hearing you sing in Cuba, on a picnic, with the chickens, is a pricesless memory for me.
I am retiring at the end of May.
Am moving but not sure yet where. I have considered Eugene. The cold might kill me; the cold might snap me into a new kind of movement and thought.
If you have a tip... a friend... someone who needs a house sitter....someone who has a little appartment or house to rent that has a yard for my cats to go out - they will want to stick their paws into the snow, I am sure. I will be renting my home here and will be ready to leave by end of June.
Am remembering your talk...astute, always.
